About Me

A little story about me so you don’t get bored.

Whew…done. Raised three kids and ready for the rest of our lives.

When Wiley and I got married, our main goal was to have our kids early, so we could be young enough to engage in fun travel adventures after the kids were gone.

That was an actual conversation we had before we got married. After many baseball games, teacher conferences, parent-taught driver’s education programs, and all things parental, I think it’s safe to say, “We did it. Done and done.”

Tick-tock, years later, when we turned 40 something, our first vacation (with passport) was a 5-day stay in Cabo San Lucas. OH EM GEE! We loved it and planned for our next vacation almost right away. Ten years later, with a renewed passport and more time on our hands, we’re wondering, “Where to next?”

With many photo albums filled with great memories, I thought that it was time to share the beautiful adventures that we have taken and the trips yet to come. I love to read and write and read some more. Hence this blog site.

I hope to bring some laughter, ideas, and deep thoughts to a few different areas of life. As grandparents of two (circle of life), I feel there are many things to discover, share and explore. I invite you to join my blog, come along for the ride, and engage with me on the game of life.
