For years, I have written in journals as a path to mental wellness and optimism. Journaling helps me process my thoughts and emotions. Now, as a mid-life mother of three and grandmother of two, I find myself looking for something more creative and expressive to help me balance the challenges that life has thrown my way. That’s why I created My Junk Journal – an outlet through which I can express the chaos, anxiety, and stress of life in a more organized way.
My Junk Journal helps me de-stress and practice mindfulness. Whether it’s through drawing, writing, collaging, or simply doodling, having this creative outlet allows me to take a step back from life and focus my energy on something positive. It’s a way for me to express my feelings in an organized manner, while also releasing any tension or stress I’m feeling.
